Loughrigg Tarn
On this page we have a walk that we did in late Summer 2012 past Loughrigg Tarn near Ambleside. It is only a few miles away from our lodges. We started from Neaum Crag, but parking is limited in that area. As it's a circular walk you might want to join the walk at the bottom of the hill at Skelwith Bridge, or you could start it in Elterwater.
The walk took us just about two and a half hours but we did stop for refreshments at the Britannia which accounts for the longer time shown on the walk details
This is a 360 degree view of the Britannia and Elterwater Village that you can click and drag on.
This is an Everytrail route that you can download to a compatible phone that has the free app on it
